Jennifer Dumpert joins Team Human to explore the unusual half-waking dream states of hypnagogia and hypnopompia. In her new book, Liminal Dreaming, Dumpert shares her exploration of these dream spaces to discover how they can improve sleep, mitigate anxiety and depression and aid creativity. On this episode, Douglas and Jennifer explore all forms of the liminal – the spaces in between things – to understand how our ability to deal with these forms of ambiguity make human consciousness so unique.
